Peacefully, at home, in his ninety-fifth year, with his wife and daughters by his side on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Beloved husband of Rose Bigler for sixty-seven years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Terri and Peter Klein, Wendy Adelman and Raoul Haimson. Cherished grandpa of Adam and David, Jonathan and Abtin. Brother and brother-in-law of Donna and the late Hy Adelman, the late Ann and the late Abe Sadler, the late Mary and the late Bernard Zackon and the late Sam Caplan, the late Gertrude and the late Archie Silverman. Dearest brother-in-law of Toby and Ted Nathanson. Gerson will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Gerson’s nephew Dr. Harold Zackon for always being there for him and for his constant care and support. Special thanks to Bebie and Rowena for their loving care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch de la Forêt, Outremont.
