% The last name is misspelled on the tombstone. This is actually Solomon Kerkofsky, son of Meir and Blima Kerkofsky. He immigrated to Canada in 1921 with his family and then died shortly thereafter. He has a first cousin, Sam (Shlomo) Kerkofsky also buried in the cemetery, both were named for their grandfather Shlomo Kierkowsky who died in Poland. It took me years to find what happened to him because of the misspelling on his tombstone.
