STEINBERG, Clara (nee Witzling)
Peacefully, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the age of ninety-four. Beloved wife of the late Morris. Loving mother of Dr. William, Jonathan, and Ivy Steinberg Quaile. Mother-in law of Dr. Doris Steinberg and Allan Quaile. Cherished grandmother of Tara and Craig Steinberg. Sister of Flora Caplan, the late Jack, the late Rose Miller, and the late Pearl Shrader. Sister-in-law of the late Sydney Caplan, the late Ruth Witzling, the late Boaz Miller, the late Wes Shrader, the late Sam and the late Helen Steinberg, the late Nathan and the late Annie Steinberg, the late Jack and the late Gertrude Steinberg, the late Max and the late Sybil Steinberg Plotnick, and the late Lilly and the late Hyman Rafman. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Special thanks to her caregivers, Carol, Fran and Melanie, as well as the staff of Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 260 Dufferin Road, Hampstead, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. daily including Sunday, March 17.
