STEINBERG, Sybil (nee Adelson)
Peacefully at home, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in her ninety-seventh year. Beloved wife of the late Max Steinberg, the late Herbert N. Dobrin and the late Henry Plotnick. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Brahm and Carol Steinberg, Ida and Bill Pencer, Gerald and Lynda, Robert and Mona Steinberg. Devoted grandmother of Mitchell and Lisa Steinberg, Janet and Michael Corber, Maxine and David Sacoransky, Jill and Andrew Reback, Gary Pencer and Inna, Max and Linda Pencer, Richard and Marcie Pencer, Aaron, Avi, Lauren and Max Steinberg. Proud great-grandmother of Max, and Samson Steinberg, Liana, and Neil Corber, Ethan, and Dean Sacoransky, Morrison, and Russell Reback, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, Clara, Harry, Jane, Sophie, Sam, and Adam Pencer, and Kate Steinberg. Predeceased by her dear siblings and their spouses Julius and Maisie Adelson, Gerry and Harry Friedlander, Billie and Richard Sair, Lillian and Hyman Wienstein, Alice and Saul Rother, and Eunice and Harry Slimm, as well as by her brothers and sisters-in-law Jack and Gertrude Steinberg, Sam and Helen Steinberg, Nathan and Anne Steinberg, Lilly and Hyman Rafman, and Morris Steinberg. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Clara Steinberg, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special friend of Sheila and Howard. The family would like to thank her exceptional caregiver Hazel, and her team Delta, Nicki, Lolita, and Carol. Special thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker and Francine Brock for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 29 at 1:00 pm. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her daughter's home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm daily.
