SCHECTER, Florence (nee Halpert). On Thursday, November 15, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Irving. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Aaron, Sandra Schecter and Norman Sleep. Cherished grandmother of Jacob and Zachary. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Irving and the late Mickee Halpert, and predeceased by her brothers and their spouses, David and Ida, and Benjamin and Rose. Sister-in-law of Tamara and Jack Shacter, Rachel and the late Frank Welt, Melita and the late Leo Trachtenberg, Sheila Udashkin and the late Joseph Shecter, and predeceased by William Schecter, Fanny and Israel Segal, Esther and Louis Schechter, Miriam Spiegel. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Special thanks to her devoted caregiver Patricia Akhtari. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, November 18 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
