YAFFE, Saul U. In his eighty-eighth year on Thursday, September 18, 2003. Much loved husband of Zelda Stein for almost sixty-five years. Wonderful father and father-in-law of Peter of Montreal, Brenda and Gary Caplan of Boston. Cherished "Papa" of Robin and Sergio Lombardi, Richard Yaffe; Stephanie Caplan of New York City, Rayna Caplan and Matt Brown of San Francisco, Ilana Caplan of Madison, Wisconsin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Morton and Sylvia Yaffe of Toronto, the late Rose and the late Sol Korman, and brother-in-law of Lou and Zetta Stein, Marty and Shirley Stein, the late Sam and the late Frances Stein, the late Saul and the late Claire Stein. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West. Shiva at 3468 Drummond #906 through Monday evening, September 22 (1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.). Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice |
