SHECTER, Ruth (nee Viau). Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, August 20, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Michael, and Diana and Herbert Stern of Boston. Grandmother of Joshua, Johanna and Benjamin Smith. Predeceased by her siblings. She will be missed by family and friends. Graveside service on Wednesday, August 22 at 11 a.m. at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
