HURWITZ, Libby (nee Kahane). Peacefully in her sleep, on Friday, August 26, 2005. Beloved wife of Harry Hurwitz. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Della Hurwitz, Debbie and Marty Cooper, Darla and Ian Scott of Israel. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Joe and Dyan Kahane, Rosanne and the late Jack Kahane, Lillie and the late Theodore (Bill) Kahane, the late Clara and the late Jack Shnerson, Ghita Rubin, David Hurwitz, Leah Kunin, Suzie Cuttler, and Ike Hurwitz. Adored Bubbie of Jonathan and Michael Kizner; Ariel and Adam Scott; Harley and Casey Cooper. Devoted aunt, cousin and friend. Special thanks to Gail Wilson for her loving compassion and support, to the caring staff of 5 South Maimonides Hospital and to the emergency staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, August 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private.
