GILMAN, Arlene (nee Margolese)
It is with deep sadness that we announce Arlene's peaceful passing surrounded by family, on Thursday, April 17, 2014, in her eighty-fourth year. Beloved and incredibly devoted wife of Moe Gilman for over sixty-three years. Most cherished mother and mother-in-law of Richard Gilman, Jeffrey and Sheryl (Smith) Gilman, Wendy and Michael Gruber. Deeply loved grandmother of Melanie and Sean Zeitz, Perry, and Dustin Gilman; Jeremy, Justin, and the late Aaron Gilman; Jory and Jason Ansel, David, and Callie Gruber. Special great-grandmother "GG" of Lexie, and Jacob Zeitz. Daughter of the late Bessie and the late Jack Margolese. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bina and the late Leonard Ellen, Ronnie and Sandra Margolese, Stanley and Lynn Margolese; and sister-in-law of Miriam and Jack Hersh, Shirley Merowitz, the late Hymie and the late Rose Gilman, the late Ruby and the late Dinah Rosen. Arlene will be profoundly missed by her many close friends, nieces, nephews and family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her daughter's home; due to the festival of Passover, Shiva commences on Wednesday, April 23.
