NADLER, Ruth (née Sorffer)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruth at home, on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Devoted wife of the late David Lyon Nadler. Cherished and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Nancy and Stephen Engels, Wendy and Barouch Chai. Loving and adored grandma of Michael Engels and Alli Carr, Eric Engels and Phaelen Nagley, Kevin Engels and Corinne Balaila; Talia, Jacob, and Daniella Chai. Proud great-grandmother of Andie Ruth Engels who was a blessed gift and a source of great joy. Daughter of the late Jennie (née Miller) and the late Louis Sorffer. Predeceased by her brothers, Allan, Melvin (the late Irene) and Jack Sorffer. Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and her many dear friends. We are forever grateful for the devotion and care of Beth Iyog, her angel, with whom Ruth shared a special bond. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
