Peacefully and comfortably, at home, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family. Beloved husband of Charlotte Dubrovsky for sixty seven years. Father and father-in-law of Sharon and Dr. Saul Frenkiel, Ellen and Dr. David Amdursky, Gloria and Mitchell Laxer, Eileen and Leon Garfinkle. Poppy of Stuart and Jodie Frenkiel, Corey and Linda Frenkiel, Zachary and Dr. Andrea Frenkiel; Samantha and Marc Lawrence, Robert and Becky Amdursky; Madison Laxer, and Hailey Laxer; Dr. Jarred Garfinkle and fiancée Jaclyn Marcovitz, Dr. Richard Garfinkle, and Jason Garfinkle. Great-grandfather of Andie, Jules, Sophie, Matthew, and Aimee. Brother-in-law and brother of Elaine and the late Larry Walfish; and brother-in-law of Sarah and the late Joseph Pomerantz, Sylvia and the late Reuben Dubrovsky, Lorna and the late Jack Stroll, Earl and Faigie Dubrovsky. Morty will be dearly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge with sincerest gratitude his caregivers, Aki, Senait, Lerleen, and Ghenet, for their exceptional care and warmth. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, February 26 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his daughter Eileen's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
