ABRAMOVITCH, Jessie (nee Davine)
Peacefully, with dignity, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Beloved wife of Harry for sixty-four years. Loving mother, mother-in-law and best friend of Arlene and Howard Silver. Cherished Grandma of Jamie and Heidi, Jason and Ali, Jared and Stephanie, and Jonathan Silver; Michael, and Mitchell Charto. Proud great-grandmother of Davey and Robbie. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Libby and Leonard Slutsky, Stephen and the late Frayda Davine, the late Leon Davine (Shelley); and sister-in-law of Aaron and Dorothy, Charlie and Debbie, and Henry and Olga Abramovitch, Zelda and Jay Indursky, the late Sam and the late Evelyn, and the late Mickey and the late Shirley Abramovitch. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Victor Cohen, Carmella Pepe and Neil Trister, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff of 7NW at the Jewish General Hospital and of the Palliative Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beacosnfield. Shiva at Castel Royal, 5740 Cavendish Blvd., C.S.L. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva ends Sunday afternoon.
