KOENIG, Henza (nee Taiger). With dignity, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 1, 2006. Daughter of the late Pauline and the late Martin Taiger. Devoted wife of Mort. Cherished and beloved mother and mother-in-law of Lynda and Simon Shayer, Fran and Frank Bilmes, Sharon and Billy Miller. Most adored Grandma of Steven Shayer, Lauren Shayer; Matthew Bilmes and fiancee Jill Selick, Stewart Bilmes; Zachary, Melanie, Kevin, and Jaye Miller. Treasured big sister of Chubby and Hy Tolchinsky, and Shelly Taiger. Sister-in-law of Myra and Bernie Frost. Dearest aunt of Nancy, Elyse, Andrea, Lawrence, Jodi, and Irwin and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. The family extends their sincerest thanks to Dr. David Small, Esther, Victoria, and Belle Maclin, Dr. Romano and the nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit of the Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
