SCHAFFER, Lorna Dee (nee Gallay). After a long and courageous battle on Friday, November 7, 2003 in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Harold. Daughter and daughter-in-law of the late Helen and the late Max Gallay and the late Leah Schaffer. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Rhonda and Bernie Klein, Anne and Eli Pullan, Gail and Mark Golberg, Donna and Fraser Mackay. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Barbara and the late Arthur Gallay, Brahm and Sharon Gallay, Corinne and Syd Nadler, Sheila Pearl and Seymour Pearl. Especially loved Grandma of Dara, Andrew, Evan, Carly, Yael, Avital, Sean, Kimberley and Hayden. She was the most loving and kind woman who will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and all who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Arnie Zylbergold. In Toronto, Dr. K. Pritchard, Dr. Weinroch and the team of Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre and Dr. D. Grossman of Baycrest Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, November 10, 2003 at 1 p.m. Burial at Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
