SMILEY, Polly (nee Sherman)
Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Issie. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Roslyn and Abe Slawner, and Murray Smiley. Cherished Bubbie of Chad and Hyo, and Heath Slawner. Great 'Bubbie Polly' of Jack and Noa. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Rose and Ernie Starr, Syd and Vicki Sherman, and by Issie's siblings and their spouses, Harry and Rose Smiley, Annie and Harry Wiseman, Millie, and Lily Smiley. Special thanks to her caregiver, Annie for her care, kindness and devotion, and to the staff of 4C at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 20 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
