SACKS, Minnie (nee Martz). Peacefully and with dignity, at the age of seventy-nine, on Saturday, November 22, 2003. Beloved wife of Issie. Loving mother of Wally and Gloria, Morrie and Sheryl of Vancouver B.C., and Lynda. An inspiration to her grandchildren Jordie and Sari, Michael and Debbie, Clifford and Lara Sacks; Benjamin and Daniel Sacks; Samantha and Melissa Freedman. Proud great-grandmother of Maya and Jonah; Alex and Taylor; Kayla and Sierra. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Lil Segal, Gertie and Bill Sigler, Roz and the late Sonny Martz, Celia and the late Joe Martz, Sam and Fraidie Martz, the late Louis and the late Maury Martz, Ida and Harry Greenberg, the late Harry and the late Molly Sacks, the late Bernie and the late Millie Sacks, the late Jean and the late Moe Silverman. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family gratefully acknowledges the exceptional care of Dr. Michael Dworkind, the entire Palliative Care Team at Mount Sinai Hospital, Doctors B. Fine and S. Caplan and the staff of the Haematology and Oncology Departments at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, November 24 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private.
