GOLDSTEIN, Ruth (nee Bashefsky). Peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Louis "Tek". Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Mel and Anne. Cherished grandmother of Michael "Mikey". Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ida and the late Irving "Izzie" Fagen. Sister-in-law of Irving and Lucy Goldstein, the late Ray and the late Al Codas, Corina and the late Jack Goldstein. Half sister of Edith Cohen, Susan Slive, the late Lillian Cooper, the late Hymie Bass, the late Sammie Bass, the late Harry Slattner, the late Louis Slattner and the late Annie Funger. She will be sadly missed by her very special nieces and nephews, family and many friends. The family would like to thank her caregivers at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Hope and Cope. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday, May 29 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
