SMALL, Dr. Allan Fred
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Fred Small on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Peacefully, after a courageous battle, with his loving family by his side. Special and devoted husband of Rena for fifty years. Son of the late Rose and the late Isaac Small. Loving and adored father and father-in-law of Andrew and Joy, Steven and Alex, Heidi and Ian, and Michael and Susan. Proud and treasured Papa of Livia, Jack, Mila, Ella, Ruby, Leni, Sophie, Robert, and Aliya. His tenth grandchild is on the way! Son-in-law of Eta Powell Golt and the late Alec Powell. Brother and brother-in-law of Louis and Fraidel Small. Brother-in-law of Harvey and Merle Powell, Eric and Joyce Powell. Allan will be sadly missed and always remembered as 'Uncle Boomie' by all his nieces, nephews and friends. Special gratitude to Dr. Kevin Petrecca for all his care and compassion, and special thanks to all the doctors and staff at the Mount Sinai hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, April 27 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
