ALPER, Bessie (née Goldberg) Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Devoted wife of the late Nathan for fifty-six years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Michael and Karin Alper of Boston, Dr. Shelley Alper and George Stern. Cherished grandmother of Robert and Daniel Alper; Michelle Glay, Richard and David Stern. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Miriam and Moishe Shatzkes, Esther and Chaim Aber, Rabbi Dr. Ephraim and Shulamis Goldberg, Esther and the late Motel Goldberg, Lil and the late Sam Goldberg, Gita and the late Calman Goldberg. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Max and Frema Alper, David and Lottie Alper, Gerdie Alper, Eddie and Goldie Alper, Issie and Bessie Alper, Charlie and Freda Alper, Myer Alper. Bessie will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Marylise Boutros, Alice Galvez and Flor Sagala for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
