HURWITZ, George. Peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at the age of eighty-seven, with his children present. Beloved husband of the late Sybil Lax. Cherished father and father-in-law of Susan and Charles Kling, and Stephen and Sharron. Devoted grandfather of Eric and Matthew. Dear brother of five sisters and six brothers. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Shomrim Laboker, Shaare Tefillah Section, LaJeunesse St. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the 15th floor at the Montreal General Hospital.
