ASPLER, Minna (née Friedland) Peacefully, in her one hundredth year, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Moe Aspler. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Carl, Martha, Fanya and Danny. Cherished grandmother of Sigal, Maia, Sharon, Daniel and Sarah. Sister-in-law of the late Charles and the late Estelle Aspler, and the late Izzie and the late Mimi Aspler. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish Eldercare for their care and devotion. Special thanks to Marialuz Ponce, an exceptional caregiver, who, for four years, gave quality and comfort in Minna's final years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 26 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Tefilah Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lajeunesse St. Shiva at Ruby Foo's Hotel, 7655 Décarie Blvd., Montreal, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A shiva will also take place in Avihayil Israel for friends and relatives overseas.
