SHATSKY, Sydney
Suddenly, in Florida, on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, one week after his ninety-sixth birthday. Beloved husband of Lola Waxman and the late Sylvia Frank. Loved father and father-in-law of Beverly and Jack Halickman, Brian and Ardis Shatsky, Sherri and Bruce Schreiber. Stepfather of Joanne Halickman and Rick Adelstein, Clifford Halickman and Dr. Tina Dorfman. Grandfather of Sara and Jordan, Micah, and Stephanie; Samantha, and Neil; Justin, and Gabriel; Taylor, Ryan and fiancée Ilona, and Dylan. Great-grandfather of Lucas. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Sarah and the late Harold Hench; and brother-in-law of the late Seymour and the late Irene Frank, the late Gerry and the late Corinne Frank; Murray and Harriet Waxman, the late Ethel and the late Max Neuman, the late Rose and the late Archie Gasco and the late Laz Lang, the late Ernie and the late Ruth Waxman, the late Jules (Julie) and the late Shirley Waxman. Sydney will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and many, many friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 2, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berry St. Shiva at his home through Tuesday evening.
