ALPERN, Karola (nee Bleyer) Peacefully, in her ninety-seventh year, on Sunday, July 26, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Maria and George Fanaberia, Alex and Debbie Alpern. Dear grandmother of Brian, Laurie, Adrienne and Nicky. The family would like to thank the staff of Place Kensington and the staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and devotion. Special thanks to Gloria, who was her 'Angel'.
