GORDON, Joel. On Wednesday, September 18, 2002. Joel William Gordon, most dearly beloved son of Harold and Lola Gordon and dear brother of Michael. He crowded so much into his forty years, and all with passion and intensity. His career included 15 years as the track announcer of the Grand Prix, as well, CJAD and latterly, 940 News. Our profound gratitude goes out to the doctors and the exceptionally caring nurses of the Montreal General and Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospitals. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, September 20 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, Berri Street. Shiva at 5507 Elgin Avenue. Due to the Festival of Succot, shiva will end on Friday, September 20 at 3:30 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Leucan Inc., a society for children with Leukemia, (514) 731-3696. |
