ZIMMERMAN, Dr. George. Peacefully, on Thursday, March 23, 2006, in his ninety-fifth year. Devoted husband of the late Helen Simon. Beloved father and father-in-law of Emily and Philip Goldberg of Mississauga, Mark and Judy Zimmerman. Cherished grandpa of Alina and Michele Goldberg; Tamara Zimmerman and Vito Calabretta, Daniel Zimmerman. Special friend to Anne Nadler. Dear brother-in-law of Karyn Simon and Betsy Simon. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, May Simmerman, Adele Simmerman, Esther Simmerman, Isadore and Rose Simmerman, Martin and Gertrude Simmerman, and by his in-laws Jack and Harriet Simon, Lily and Saul Harris, Saul Simon, Eunice Schwartz, Ethel and Irving Silverblatt, Sidney Simon, Shirley and Howard Karp. Sadly mourned by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the 5th floor staff at Le Waldorf. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'Nai Jacob Congregation Cemetery, B'Nai Jacob Section, Lajeunesse St. Shiva at 5612 Alpine Ave., C.S.L.
