BLOCK, Hye G. In his eighty-first year, on Thursday, July 3, 2003; after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Marylin. Loving father of Jonathan and Jeffrey. Devoted brother of Faye Friedman (the late Harry), Rose Segal (the late Melvin), Ruth Sher (David), Miriam Erenberg (Morrie), the late Ann Smiley, the late Ben Block. Dear sister-in-law Norma Block. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Oncology Department and the staff of 7W of the Jewish General Hospital for their friendship and care. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, July 6 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Beth David Congregation Cemetery, Lajeunesse St. Shiva at his home.
