Obituary SPIGELBLATT, Irving. BA Honors Philosophy. Courageously after a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at the age of seventy-nine. Devoted husband of the late Geraldine Freedman. Beloved father and father-in-law Dr. Linda Spigelblatt and Adrian Guyver, Stan and Lucila of Ottawa. Special Zaida to Meghan and Darrell Kimble, Jennifer, Nina and Aaron. Great-grandfather to Quinton. Brother and brother-in-law to the late Lea and the late Bill Carin, the late Rose and the late Leo Lowsky, the late Reba and the late Ruby Morrison, the late Bertha and the late Dave Ostroff, the late Eva and the late Sydney Canter. Brother-in-law to the late Betty and Harold Bell, Charlotte and Sonny Pfeffer. Irving will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially Sue Block and Ruth Sklar. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Wednesday, January 15 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Association Section, Back River Cemetery, Berri Street. Shiva private. Special thanks to Dr. Louise Authier, Dr. Louise Savoie and Dr. Edouard Bastien. Much appreciation for the attentive care given by the 8th floor Gastroenterology and ICU staff at the Maisonneauve-Rosemont Hospital.
