POSEL, Jacob (Jack)
After a brief illness, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Beloved husband of Rita (Tobie) Shlachter. Devoted father and father-in-law of Arlene Posel, Norman Posel and Ivy Loo, Clifford and Bonnie Posel. Cherished Zaidy of Michelle Garfinkle and fiancé Matt Rideout, Jaclyn, and Lauren Garfinkle; Rinchen Esther Posel; Amy and Josh Posel. Dear brother of Rita Vosberg and the late Bernard Posel, and brother-in-law of Gerry and the late Dorothy Lank, Ralph Shlachter, Sue (Cecile) Posel, the late Ted Rudner, and the late Irving Vosberg. He will be sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, January 29 at 9:45 a.m. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B'nai Jacob Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at his home.
