COOPERMAN, Florence (nee Rotchtin). With exceptional courage and dignity on Sunday August 20, 2006. Adored wife of the late Jack Cooperman. Loving and devoted mother of Marilyn and Paula Abra Cooperman. Proud and loving grandmother of Renee Figlarz and Alex Grassino, Marissa Figlarz. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Hy and the late Sylvia Rotchtin, Ezra and Shirley Rotchin, Marcia and Oscar Coleman, the late Sarah and the late Paul Policoff, the late Gene and the late Moe Geller, the late Charlie and the late Sylvia Rotchin, the late Ida and the late Lou Sherman. Florence was the revered focal point of her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Marvin Wexler for his extreme kindness over the many years he cared for Florence. The family extends their profound gratitude to Dr. Jeremy Sturgeon and Dr. Golda Tradounsky for their care and compassion. The family also extends their deep appreciation to Kim at the Royal Victoria Hospital Oncology Department for her ongoing care and thoughtfulness; to Belle Maclan, Nurse Catherine, Nurse Lydia, and profound thanks go to Nurse Ray, all of Mount Sinai Hospital. Special thanks to Josie Bautista, Lourdes Locquao and Mercy Bautista who took care of Florence. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, August 22 at 12 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at 7431 Kingsley #911.
