WINIKOFF, Esther
(nee Martin)
Peacefully, at home, in her one hundred and second year, on Saturday, June 14, 2014. Devoted wife of the late William Winikoff. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Marilyn and David (Kabachnick), Allan and Ilana (Kuska). Adoring grandma of Kenneth and Marilyn, Jonathan, Sean, and Justin. Proud great-grandmother of Autumn, Alexis, Allison, and Andrew. Esther will be sadly missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, family, friends, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Maura, Gloria, Margaret, Shenisa, and Beauty for their excellent care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 16 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily through Wednesday evening. Contributions in Esther's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Esther was a gentle soul who led a charmed life. |
