BASS, Fanny (nee Sonberg). On Thursday November 4, 2004 in her one hundred first year. Beloved wife of the late Issie Bass and the late Chaim Kopans. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of the late Claire and the late David Stein. Cherished "Bubby" of Jeffrey and Carol Lynn Stein, Brian and Gayle Stein. Special "Big Bubby" of David, Kelly and David. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Joseph and Sadie Sonberg, Edith and the late Hymie Shugar of Toronto, the late Abraham and the late Reva Sonberg. The late Yetta and the late Dave Haupt, the late Louis and the late Helen Goldmans of Winnipeg, the late Dave and the late Stella Sonberg. Sister-in-law of the late Yudel and the late Leah Bass. Daughter of the late Tovia and the late Bina Sonberg. She will be longingly remembered and sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family. The family would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Friedland, and the entire staff of Residence Zahava for their devotion. Special thanks to Dr. Jerrold Rappaport and his staff for their care.
