It is with great sadness that we announce Shirley's passing on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Gitnick and the late Aaron Russman. Devoted mother of Bradley Gitnick, Stephanie and Danny Cohen. Stepmother of Gerald Russman and Cidalia Andrade, Ita and the late Jay Rothenberg. Cherished grandmother of Trevor, Nicole, Daniel, Doreen, Jordan, Stacey, Samara, Adam and Ramona. Great-grandmother of Kyle, Alexia, and Chelsey. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Claire and Paul Prupas, Roslyn and Gordon Byer. Dear sister-in-law of the late Manny and the late Shirley Gitnick, the late Sylvia and the late Lionel Campbell; the late David Russman, the late Morrie and the late Bunny Russman, the late Molly and the late Julius Schachter, Faige and the late Walter Groper, Sylvia and the late Harry Russman, Frances and the late Norman Russman, Mary and the late Hymie Russman. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, family and friends. A private graveside service will take place.
