LANDAU, Paul. A Holocaust survivor, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Loving and devoted husband of Marilyn Newman. Beloved father of Evelyne, Marc (Karen Shopsowitz), and stepfather of Jane Fishman (Alan), and Lewis Baer (Lorraine). Cherished "Pop-Pop" of Eric Mandelker, Lauren Mandelker; Carolyn Damelincourt (Mickael), Matthew Fishman; Noah, Jake and Gabriella Baer. Son of the late Jenta Ruchel and the late Menachem Dov Landau. Dearest brother of Feiga Landau-Ajchenbaum, Rachel Achsen (Joseph), the late Fanny (the late Hershel), the late Leon (the late Helene), and the late Jacques, who perished in the Holocaust. Brother-in-law of Beverly and Arthur Mendel. Paul will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Colette Landau, Eda Zimler and Marvin Schiff, his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends in France, Israel, USA and Canada. The family would especially like to thank doctors Black, Goldstein and Shamy, and the staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Special gratitude to Maria for her care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, December 7 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yitzchok Section, de la Savane.
