VAS, Peter. On Yom Kippur, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, September 25, 2004, in his sixty-fifth year. Beloved husband of Mary. Loyal and affectionate father and father-in-law of David and Diane Vas, and Sandy and Israel Remer. Loving grandpa of Dov Vas; and Elyanna and Nava Remer. Devoted brother-in-law of Susan and the late Stanley Wodnicki. Special uncle of Robert and Richard Wodnicki. Loving nephew of Miki and Marica Katz. He will be sadly missed by his family, many friends and his "Y" buddies. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, September 27 at 10 a.m. Burial at Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. Due to the Festival of Succott, shiva ends on Wednesday, September 29 at 12 noon. He was a loving person, a truly decent man, and a hero to his family. |
