Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, January 30, 2020, in his sixty-fifth year. Son of the late Abraham and the late Fiby Azran, son-in-law of Peter and Kiki Melissaratou. Beloved husband of Frosa. Loving father and father-in-law of Jordan and Sara, Alexa and Jonathan, Michael and Vicky. Cherished “Papa Chel” of Adam, Zachary, and Angelo. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Suzanne and the late Allan, Emile and Kay, Raymonde, David and Karen, the late Prosper; and brother-in-law of Gina, Letta, Lena. Michel will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, family, friends and by all those whose lives he touched (and hair he cut). The family would like to thank Dr. G. Gyger, the other doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 2 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
