HABERT, Bert Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, October 31, 2019. He leaves behind Rhoda, the love of his life and best friend for forty-six years. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Adele and Frank Gillman. Loving brother-in-law of Irene Litinsky and François Ouimet. Dear uncle of Jonathan Ouimet (Jenny), Zachary Ouimet (Yasaman), Lauren Goldenberg (Jessi), Julie Goldenberg (Roshitha). Proud great-uncle of Max Albert, Jayden, and Hailey. Bert will be sadly missed by his cousins, many friends and colleagues and all of those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., through Thursday evening. Bert exemplified elegance and class; he was a man among men. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
