FREGER, Elaine (nee Segal) On Monday, August 10, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jack Freger. Daughter of the late Claire and Louis Segal. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Michael and Hedy Segal of Ottawa, Rhona and the late Paul Kocsis of Calgary; and sister-in-law of Chana (Anna) and Issie Sweibel, Toby and the late Alex Litwin of New York, Rose and the late Sam Freger. Long-time friend of Susan Kirstein. Elaine will be fondly remembered by Jack's children, Jamie (Jocelyn), Rhiana, his grandchildren Liam, and Hamish, as well as by her family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers Karen and Anna, and to the staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Wednesday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
