SHERNOFSKY, Phyllis (nee Farr) Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Lily and the late Harry Farr. Dearly beloved wife of Barry for forty-eight years. Devoted and doting mother of Cynthia, and Melanie. Adored and adoring sister and best friend of Rhoda Levine. Treasured sister-in-law of Allan J. Levine, Leslie and Ruth Shernofsky, and the late Heather Shernofsky. Precious "Auntie" of Charisse and Bruce, Brad and Tara, Bram, Mitchell and Negin, Stephanie, and David. Loving "Auntie Auntie" of Sage, Brayden, and Eden. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her close family, wonderful neighbours, many dear friends, and by all who had the good fortune to know her. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Hemodialysis Unit and of the I.C.U. at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care, devotion, and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
