BENABOU, Michel 1935 - 2012 In the early moments of Sunday, July 15, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, Michel lost his battle against cancer and passed away peacefully leaving to mourn his wife of 27 years, Lucie Pinto, his daughter Claire, his children from a previous marriage, Nelly, Claude and Gilbert (Nancy Fhima), his brother Armand (Mimi Merran), his sisters Gisele Niddam and Ninette Assouline from France and Juliette Benabou from Israel, his stepson Joseph Levy, his stepdaughter Elena Levy (Evan Merson), his grandchildren and many adoring nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his oldest son Simon Z'L, his brothers, Leon Z'L and Salomon Z'L and his sister Esther Z'L. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Segal Cancer Centre and of the Palliative care department of the Jewish General Hospital where donations can be directed. |
