GILMAN, Florence (nee Pinsky) Peacefully, on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Loving mother of Ernie of Ottawa and the late Jerry. Adoring mother-in-law of Jeanette. Adored Bubby of David and Janet Gilman of Seattle, Heather and Tony Shewchenko of Ottawa. Proud great-grandmother of Nina and Haylee Gilman, Tera and Max Shewchenko. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Belle Pines, Phil and Millie Pinsky, Sam and Minnie Pinsky, Willie and Annie Gilman, Max Gilman and Jerry Levy, Tammy and Eddie Gershberg, Dave and Yetta Gilman, Minnie and Bernie Cohen. Special Auntie and great-Auntie to her many nieces and nephews, and their families. The family would like to thank the staff of the King David Residence for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 16 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at Jeanette's residence. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashana, shiva ends Friday, September 18.
