LANG, Sylvia (nee Malomet) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, January 1, 2018. Devoted wife of Jerry (Yura) for fifty-seven years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Stan Lang and Natalie Celemencki, Sam Lang and Tali Rochman. Cherished Bubby of Jaden, Jessika, Adam, Sara and Liora. Sister and sister-in-law of Alvin and Dina Malomet, and Edie Malomet Maslow; and sister-in-law of Clara and the late Jack Neuwald, the late Fanny and the late Nathan Stern. Sylvia will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Victor Cohen and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Wednesday, January 3 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Ahavath Schulom Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son Stan's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
