SHISTER, Emma (nee Shapiro) Peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in her 108th year. Beloved wife of the late Oscar. Predeceased by her siblings Yussle, Lazor, Louis, and Haiem. Step-mother of Freda Goldblatt and the late Saul Shister. Cherished aunt of Marilyn and Jackie Ettedgui, Nora and Eric Novak, Elvin Shapiro, Frances Prince, Norman and the late Mona Zavalkoff, Saul Prince. Dear great-aunt of Sara and David Banon, Amanda and David Ettedgui, Sherri and Scott Simonds, Ruth Novak, Kim and Arnold Nadler, Elinor and Tim Utting, Rowena and Brian Zavalkoff, Anne Zavalkoff and Todd Margolis, Melanie and Dan Kalmanovitch. Proud great-great aunt of Douglas Utting, Sarah Utting, Samuel Nadler, Hannah Zavalkoff, Andrew Zavalkoff, Ava Kalmanovitch, and Samuel Banon. Special thanks to Josie Bautista and Myrna Inaudito for their dedicated and loving care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Friday July 10, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
