BARD, Fay (nee Belchikoff) On Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Harry z"l. Loving mother of Honnie Derai (Haim J.P.) and Myra Michaelson of Vancouver. Sweet Bubbie of Tami and Tiarnan King, Michael and Lisa Derai, Dena and Ryan Cheney, and Gabriel Derai. Great-grandmother of Arliss, Noah and Cole. Devoted sister of Celia Joffre (the late Sam) and Lillian Rosenberger (the late Eric). Predeceased by her brothers, Nathan (the late Sarah), Boris, Harry and Moishe Belchikoff. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Fay will be remembered as a petite woman and a tower of strength. The family thanks the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for taking care of her for five years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 23 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Chaverim Kol Israel Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
