CHERRY, Evelyn (nee Burke). Peacefully, with dignity, after a courageous struggle, on Monday, February 6, 2006. Devoted and loving wife of Harvey Stoliar. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Elana and Leslie Siegman, Jamie Cherry, Robbie and Andrea Cherry. Beloved stepmother of Joyce and Ray Shanks, and Sandi Stoliar. Cherished Bubbie of Justin, and Alex Siegman; Ayla Shanks. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Joyce and the late Julius Morein, Bobby and Anna Burke, Isabel and Jacques Ohayon, Lila and the late David Satok, Michael Stern. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, bridge partners and her many dear friends, new and old. The family would like to thank all those who were devoted to Evy during her illness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West on Tuesday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Chaverim Kol Israel Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5788 Caldwell Ave., C.S.L.
