WEIS, Abraham, (Abie). Peacefully, on Sunday, June 29, 2008. Son of the late Victor and the late Sarah Weis (Kardonsky). Beloved father of Mervyn Weis, Suzan and David Silverstein of Toronto, Brian and Patricia Weis of Atlanta. Proud grandfather of Ayal and Aric Weis; Billy Silverstein; Gabrielle and Stephanie Weis. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Anna (Weis) and the late Harold Horowitz, the late Ben and the late Betty Itzcovitch, Etta Weis, the late Charlie and the late Betty Slater, the late Florence (Weis) and the late Phil Hymer. Many thanks to Fruan Tabamo and the 2nd floor staff at Maimonides. His humour, generosity and love will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, July 1 at 10 a.m. Burial at the Chaverim Kol Israel Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
