CHERNOFSKY, (CHERNOFF), George. Peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 7, 2004 at the age of eighty-four years. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorna Greenberg. Cherished father and father-in-law of Heidi and Stacey Bindman, and Nancy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Hymie, and Lou and Sylvia. Predeceased by his siblings Rose Selinsky, Dinah Goldberg, Sarah Herman, and Ruth Shaffer. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and very dear friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mark Rabinovitch and special thanks to the 3rd Floor Staff of Mt. Sinai Hospital who displayed great compassion and care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W., on Friday, July 9 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Chaverim Kol Israel Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5350 MacDonald #202 from 1 p.m., daily.
