CHERNOFSKY, Jennie (nee Singer) Peacefully, in her ninety-seventh year, on Monday, September 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Abraham. Devoted mother of Irving David and Harold Chernofsky. Cherished grandmother of Leah-Dawn, Neil, Joshua and Miranda, and the late Michael Chernofsky. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Bella and Abe Kasner, Harry and Helen Singer, Ettie and Peter Altman, and Louis Singer. Special aunt of Rosalyn Kasner. Auntie Jennie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Zulma, Orit, and to her caregiver Chandra, as well as to the staff of the 3rd floor of Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 27 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Haverim Kol Israel Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. |
