SKLAR, Lee (nee Hering) Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Beloved wife of Joe D'Fire for forty-two years. Devoted mother of Shellie and Steven Feldman. Cherished Bubby of Noah Kardos; Jesse and David Feldman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Frymeta and the late Leon Glasberg, the late Benjamin Hering, the late Sarah and the late Mark Mintzberg; and sister-in-law of the late Esther and the late Henry Rabin, the late Miriam and the late Harry Farber. Lee will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by Joe's children, Stephen and Susan, Jeffrey, Murray and Heidi, and Sherri; and by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Special thanks to Drs. Lucy Gilbert, Kris Jardon and Xing (Baby) Zeng, to nurse Enza Ambrosio, as well as nurses and staff of Gynaecological Oncology Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 28 at 2:15 p.m. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home.
