EISENTHAL, Sophia. On Thursday, June 28, 2007, aged ninety-four, following a very brief illness. Daughter of the late Mali and the late Abraham Jacob Eisenthal, wife of the late Solomon Sternberg, sibling to the late Bernhard and the late Mina, the most brilliant light of her life, sister-in-law of the late Mike Eisenthal and loving and devoted aunt to Bram Eisenthal. A Romanaian Holocaust survivor, she was a generous and kind woman who cared tremendously for family and friends. Much gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, 4 South, to Dr. Gaiptman and nurses Donna and Pat, and to her companion, Emelia. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W on Sunday, July 1 at 9:30 a.m. Burial at the Victoria Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
