SLEZAK, Gerta (nee Sarf) A Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, at the age of eighty-two, on Monday, March 19, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Rudolf. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Daniela and Andre Skalina of Portland, Maine, Peter Slezak and Linda Borland. Cherished "Babi" of Nicole, Karin, Amanda and Kevin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Vera and Isaac Weissman. Special aunt of David and Judi Weissman, Stephen and Sarah Weissman. Gerta will be sadly missed by her dearest friend, Lilly Jakubovic, her family and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
